The Montgomery Township Information Technology Department is responsible for providing leadership in implementing, supporting, and delivering technology solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives, serving the needs of Township staff and the public.
Description of Services
The Information Technology Department manages the Township’s information and communications technologies, including the Township’s network, phone system, email system, computers, servers, websites, and applications. These include providing IT support to our Public Safety offices, as well as the Township’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the Engineering Department. IT works with each department to create, manage, and disseminate information essential to the public and operate the various channels of communication. In addition, IT provides training and special project assistance to all departments. The primary goal of the IT department is to provide excellent technical services to both Township staff and the public. IT works with Township staff across the organization to identify projects and priorities and provide tools and analysis to further the goal of excellent public service.
