Select sections of Route 206 were resurfaced in April 2021, with an additional section in the southern portion of the Township scheduled for resurfacing in February 2022 (from Princeton north to north of Route 518.) See Status Update below and Work Area Map below under Files.
Scope of Work
The Work to be performed within this contract is to repair the roadway surface to restore it to a level that will improve rideability and includes milling of the roadway surface, removal of any unsound or locally deteriorated pavement, and placement of approved bituminous asphalt material on the routes listed below. The term “full width of the roadway” means all travel lanes, all turn lanes, inside and outside shoulders, auxiliary (acceleration and deceleration) lanes, and all median openings including intersections.
The treatment for ramps, signalized intersections, u-turns, driveways, concrete pavement repair, curbs, pavement repair, bridge decks, and utilities are as indicated on the construction plans.
Apply traffic stripes and markings as per the existing condition except as shown in signal striping plans.
Remove existing traffic stripes and pavement markings and replace them as per existing field conditions on untreated bridge structures within the Project limits.
Apply rumble strips as per the existing condition except as shown on construction plans.
Furnish and install Radar detection systems.
