Students’ Use of Buses Can Help Cut Down TrafficPosted on September 6, 2016
Officials Encourage Student Use of School Buses in light of Rt. 518 Bridge Closure
Due to the continued closure of the Rt. 518 bridge in Rocky Hill*, traffic has increased in other locations in Montgomery Township and surrounding towns. Township officials encourage all parents to take advantage of the availability of buses for all Montgomery public school students, rather than driving to and from school if not truly necessary. This will help cut down on the volume of traffic, especially during the morning rush hour. Thank you!
*Please be aware that Montgomery Twp. and Somerset County Officials continue to petition State NJDOT officials, legislators, and the Governor’s office for completion of the Rt. 518 Bridge project, on an emergency basis. We will continue to keep our residents up to date on progress on this matter.
