Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) Annual Spring Concert. GPYO presents its 55th Annual Spring Concert at Princeton University’s Richardson Auditorium. The Concert and Symphonic Orchestras are presenting works by Brahms, Chopin, Holst, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Tchaikovsky, among other contemporary composers, under the batons of Dr. Arvin Gopal and Mr. Kawika Kahalehoe. GPYO will feature Concerto Competition Winner, Louis Petitjean in a performance of Frederick Chopin’s Piano Concerto in e minor. This year’s concert will also feature, for the first time, the GPYO Choir. The choir is under the direction of Miss. Jennifer Sengin. They will perform a diverse array of works ranging from the Renaissance to Bernstein’s beloved Somewhere from West Side Story. This program includes something to appeal to every one, and is sure to inspire music lovers, young and old, alike. The concert is at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ. Saturday, June 6, 7:00 pm.
