Freeholders Meeting Room, 3rd Floor
20 Grove St.
Somerville, NJ

Second public input meeting where residents can provide feedback about the Somerset County Preservation Plan, and discuss issues concerning farmland preservation, historic preservation and open space.
The new Somerset County Preservation Plan provides updates to the 2000 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan, as well as the 2008 Comprehensive Farmland Preservation Plan. In addition, a new Historic Preservation Plan will be created that addresses land use, funding, partnership strategies and preservation in Somerset County.
Specifically, residents will learn about the initial findings of the county Preservation Plan, and the preliminary strategies for each element of the plan. Input from residents will be used when the Planning Board prepares the initial draft of the new plan.
