Starting April 1, the County Clerk’s Office, located in the Somerset County Administration Building at 20 Grove St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month to accept passport applications.  This year, the dates include April 1, May 6, June 3, July 8 (due to holiday weekend), Aug. 5, Sept. 9 (due to holiday weekend), Oct. 14 (due to Columbus Day holiday), Nov. 4 and Dec. 2. Street parking is available on weekends.

“I hope residents will take advantage of our Saturday passport hours,” said Somerset County Clerk Brett A. Radi. “I think that parents who are applying for passports for their children will find it especially helpful.”
