SOFT LACROSSE (INDOOR LACROSSE) for Boys & Girls K-4th Grade

All Skill Levels Welcome!

WHERE: Orchard Hill Elementary School – West Gym

WHEN: TUESDAYS: September 29th – November 17th  (8 sessions):

Boys & Girls K-2nd Grade Session @ 4:00 – 5:00 pm

Boys & Girls 3rd/4th Grade Session @ 5:00 – 6:00 pm


Soft Lacrosse LLC is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization that has a mission to provide a gentle introduction to the fundamentals of lacrosse. Unlock children’s athletic and leadership potential with us by nurturing self-confidence, hand eye co-ordination, footwork, and teamwork skills using time tested exclusive soft lacrosse techniques. We believe a great deal of success in life can start by picking up a lacrosse stick.

Each session will focus on basic lacrosse skills with 20-minutes of learning a different lacrosse skill & then solidify the learning with 34 – minute game experience.


  • Reinforce skill sets and build hand/eye coordination
  • Stresses defensive & offensive foot work
  • Three-pass rule encourages field vision, sharing the ball and team work
  • Friendly rules designed to encourage player success and cooperative atmosphere
  • Non-contact game with lightweight helmets and gloves to create safe environment


Anthony Terranova, Montgomery High School Assistant Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach, is the Regional Director for Soft Lacrosse in New Jersey and will lead all sessions.  Coach Terranova was a four time All Big East Academic Honoree and two time captain at Rutgers University where he lead Rutgers to their first ever Big East playoff berth. Anthony was awarded All Big East Academic Honors all 4 years he played and finished with High Honors in his major. He was selected to the All-Big East team his senior year where he was the only player to tally a point in every game. Coach Terranova is currently coaching his 7th year with Tri-State lacrosse.


Each session consists of 8 one-hour sessions for a cost of $95 per child.


In addition, there is a one-time fee to purchase a Starter Kit for $75, which includes a myles helmet, myles gloves, a soft lacrosse stick and ball in addition to a one year youth membership to US Lacrosse for your child. If your child already has a youth membership for US Lacrosse then the cost of the youth membership will be deducted from the Starter Kit.
