Scout Sunday Events Feb 1st & Feb 8thPosted on February 5, 2015
It’s Boy Scout Sunday at Blawenburg Church on February 1st. In its worship service at 10am, the Church will celebrate decades of support for Boy Scout Troop 46. Scouts and their families will be in attendance, and Troop 46 scout master Richard Epp will participate in the service. Scout Sunday is celebrated every year in February. Blawenburg Church has sponsored Troop 46 since its inception in the 1930s. Cake and refreshments will be served in Cook Hall following the service. The community is welcome to help mark this milestone.
On Sunday, February 8th 2015 at 10am, Harlingen Reformed Church on Rt. 206 in Belle Mead will be holding its annual Scout Sunday Special Service. Members of the surrounding communities (of all faiths) are encouraged to come and celebrate 105 years of Scouts’ “Reverent Service”.
Girl, Boy, and Cub Scouts are asked to come in full Class A uniform and bring with them non-perishable food items for donation. If you have earned your Religious Merit Badge, please contact your leaders to have it awarded at the service. Scouts looking to earn service hours can bring light refreshments and help with setting up, serving, and clean up. For more information, please contact Marisa Narula of Den 12 Pack 850: MontgomeryScoutSunday@gmail.com
