SAVE Pet Supply Donations Collection Project – Girl Scout Troop 60624 Bronze Award

Girl Scout Troop 60624 is working on earning their Bronze award.  The Bronze Award is a Community Service Project to help and promote a good cause.   Troop 60624 is collecting supplies for SAVE, a local animal shelter for homeless animals.  While they are waiting for their forever homes the animals are in need of toys and other items that can keep them entertained and healthy.  SAVE is also in need of office supplies.

Items that can be useful are things such as:

  • Cat and dog food, all types including soft, wet and canned
  • Training treats and bones for dogs
  • Dog and cat toys
  • Dog and cat shampoo
  • Cat litter
  • Paper Towels
  • Newspapers
  • Gently used sheets and towels
  • Post it notes
  • Pens
  • Paper clips and binder clips


You can donate these items to collection boxes located around the community in the following locations:  Montgomery Schools (Orchard, Village, Lower and Upper Middle Schools) – Otto Kaufman Center – Mary Jacob’s Library – Montgomery Municipal Building – Belle Mead Animal Hospital- The Animal Hospital at Kingston and Blawenburg – Rosedale Mills – Hopewell Library.

Collection runs from February 1st – 14th, 2016
