“Rock Brook” Bridge on Zion-Wertsville Rd. Closed for 4 mos.

The Zion-Wertsville Road Bridge, also known as the “Rock Brook Bridge”, located approximately 300 feet east of the intersection of Hollow Road and Zion-Wertsville Road / Long Hill Road, has fully closed to vehicular and pedestrian/bicycle traffic for construction, starting Monday, August 9th.

Somerset County anticipates that the bridge will be fully closed to through traffic for up to 113 days (~ 4 months) for this work.  The contractor has posted detour signs.  A detour plan is found below.  Please plan alternate routes.

The posted detour utilizes Hollow Road, Grandview Road, Pin Oak Road, and Dutchtown Road.  Project information, including the traffic control plans, and any updates can be found via the “Road & Bridge” Construction link on the Somerset County website below:
