PSE&G Upcoming Tree Trimming

Posted on October 21, 2019

PSE&G has notified Montgomery Township of upcoming routine tree trimming that will begin on or around Oct. 25. They estimate the project will take about 2-3 weeks.  Residents along affected roadways are beginning to receive notification – residents are notified in person or the crews leave a card at the house with a contact name and phone number.

We discussed the extent of the trimming, and PSE&G told us that it will be routine tree trimming for the higher voltage power lines.

They plan to trim trees on the following roads:

Route 206 (from Route 518 to the new PSE&G substation)

Route 601 (from Gibraltar quarry south to Route 518)

Route 518 (between Route 601 and Route 206)
