PSE&G Tree Trimming to begin in January

PSE&G has notified Montgomery Township of upcoming routine tree trimming that will begin in mid-January. They estimate the project will take about 3 months.  Residents along affected roadways will receive notification starting in roughly 2-3 weeks – residents are asked to sign cards confirming that they were notified, or the crews leave a card at the house.  PSE&G has contracted with Nelson Tree Service to complete the project.  PSE&G told us that it will be routine tree trimming as well as removing hazard trees, storm damage and any dead trees.  PSE&G developed a new FAQ sheet in accordance with their recent vegetation management rule changes, which is attached here, and more information is also available on their website at:

Route 206 (from the Municipal Building to Wall Street and from Airpark Road to Cherry Valley Road)

Route 601 (from Gibraltar quarry south to Route 518)

Route 518 (from Route 601 to Route 206)

Holly Drive

Heather Lane

Sunset Road (from Route 206 to split at Kildee)

Harlingen Road (from Route 206 to Devon Drive)
