Prom Dress Drive Seeks Donations

Posted on March 9, 2015

The EmPoWER Family Success Center is collecting new and gently used prom dresses and accessories for their 2015 Prom Dress Drive.  This year’s donations will be available to Franklin High School teens at their annual Extraordinary Prom Dress Giveaway on April 15th and 16th which reaches nearly 100 young women each year.

The 2015 drive is designed to help offset the high cost of attending a high school prom for Franklin High School teens.  In addition to dresses, donations of costume jewelry, purses, shoes and new cosmetics are welcome.

Donations can be dropped off at the following Somerset County locations by Monday April 13th. (Drop off times vary):

  • Mon-Sun, 24/7 Bridgewater Marriott Concierge Desk,  700 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
  • Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Salvation Army Bound Brook Corps, 108 Hamilton Street, Bound Brook, NJ 08805
  • Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Franklin High School Main Lobby, 500 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, NJ 08873 (Attn: Mrs. Hale)
