Oct. 15 Third Thurs. Blue Pomegranate Music/Art Night

The October 15th Third Thursday Blue Pomegranate will feature the music of Blue Jersey Band, Featuring Frank Ruck on Mandolin, guitar and vocals, Ellen Ruck on guitar and vocals and Mike Sutton on base guitar. Their music is an eclectic mix of Swing, Jazz, and Blue Grass.

The featured visual artist is long time Hopewell resident Ken McIndoe. McIndoe is an expressive artist who specializes in New York city street scenes painted on location in rich thick vibrant colors. He list among his influences the painters Grunewald for his expressive colors and Goya for his depiction of human disaster. Ken teaches at the Art Students League of New York City

Blue Pomegranate is an offering of the Blawenburg Church and its intention is to create an evening of creativity and joy in community. October marks the sixth month of Third Thursdays
