Description: What have you lost during the pandemic? What have you gained? Montgomery Township Health Department and several key partners are proud to present Montgomery Together: Lighting the Way Forward – An Evening of Hope & Healing. Come together to recognize and reflect on the experiences of the past year during theCOVID-19 pandemic. This event will feature an Interactive Art Gallery and Candlelight Vigil. The Art Gallery will display local artists(see submission details below), and will include a Community Art Project which all can contribute to.

The walk-through indoor gallery will be open from 3PM-7PM, with outside candlelight vigil to follow (starting at dusk, 7PM). The rain date for the Candlelight Vigil is Tuesday, September 21st at 7PM. Masks will be required for all both indoors and outdoors. Light refreshments will be provided. No registration required.  

Residents of all ages are encouraged to submit pandemic-inspired art or stories which will be featured at the event. All submissions will be entered into a raffle, and two randomly selected winners will each receive a $50 Visa Gift Card. Art of all kinds are welcome including, but not limited to: paintings, drawings, videos or recordings, crafts, poetry, essays, etc. The deadline to submit your art is Monday, September 13th EXTENDED TO THURSDAY, SEPT. 16th.  Submissions may be turned in at the Montgomery Township Municipal Building Front Desk or through email at
