FOOD PANTRY ACCEPTING MONETARY DONATIONS

A great way to help the community is to continue to support the Montgomery Food Pantry.

Although the Food Pantry is physically closed and cannot accept food or non-food grocery items at this time, they are still working to support the families who rely upon their services. According to Manager Denise Crowley, the Montgomery Food Pantry is collecting donations on-line to purchase Shop Rite gift cards for their confidential client families.

“We have done several weekly mailings of ShopRite gift cards to existing Food Pantry clients and a number of families affected by COVID 19. We will continue to do this as long as our building remains closed to the public,” said Ms. Crowley.

To donate, please visit: https://register.communitypass.net/Montgomery. Once logged on, choose “Montgomery Recreation Trust Programs” and then select “Food Pantry Donations”.  If you have any questions, please email recreation@twp.montgomery.nj.us

or call 609-466-3023. Someone will get back to you within 24 hours. The Food Pantry thanks you in advance for your generosity! An announcement will be made when the food pantry will physically re-open and will again accept donations of non-perishable food or non-food grocery items.

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance from the Food Pantry, please contact Denise Crowley at Montyfoodpantry@gmail.com.
