March 6 @ 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Montgomery Veterans Memorial Park, lower parking lot, Harlingen Rd, Belle Mead, NJ 08502

Leader:  Erin Stretz, The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association

There are many streams and brooks that run through Montgomery.  If one gives a thought to them, it is usually to simply admire their peaceful nature.  But what lurks inside?   Water hosts a wide range of life and plays an important role in a healthy environment.  Erin will talk about these topics as well as the work that the Watershed Association has done in the area.

As part of the science department at the Watershed, Erin conducts research on the Stony Brook-Millstone watershed.  She has extensive knowledge of our local streams and rivers, the life they hold, and how human activity affects them.  Erin will talk about these topics as well as the work that the Watershed Association has done in the area.
