Last Day of Farmers Market 11-21

Posted on November 20, 2020

Happy Thanksgiving from the Montgomery Friends of Open Space!

This is it, the final week of our 2020 Farmers Market Season.

MFOS Market Team thanks all our loyal patrons for a terrific season. Getting to know our diverse community has been a pleasure. Thanks also to our wonderful volunteers and vendors that make up the market community.

Special thanks for our sponsors, especially Princeton Design Guild, who generously supported the market. Your help was invaluable!

Keep yourself and others safe: follow best practices when shopping. MFOS’s market team and our vendors have changed the way we do business to protect you and our important market community.

Market Safety Guidelines

  • Don’t help yourself. Let the vendor know what you want; it will be packed for you
  • Foot traffic proceeds one way around market tables as marked. No foot traffic between market tables.
  • Six feet between yourself and others at all times.
  • Please wear a mask covering mouth and nose while at the market. Customers are responsible for bringing their own masks. Use hand sanitizer.
  • Come Healthy! or not at all.
  • One person per family. Parking and space are limited.
  • And, please, use good sense and good manners in social distancing

Mark Your Calendar:

MFOS’s Annual Holiday Market December 12. Holiday gifts and farm fresh produce.

At Christopher Soaps and Woods Edge Wool Farms find quality handcrafted gifts. Fresh from the farm winter produce to pick up holiday meals. Same location and hours.

The best of fall is now at the market, so write up your Thanksgiving shopping list. Expect flavorful winter squashes, mushrooms, Jersey apples, wide variety of greens and lettuces, cauliflower, carrots, onions, broccoli, fresh herbs, radishes, and herbal teas. Gathering together is easy with fantastic heat-and-serve soups from Orchard Farm Organics.

Don’t forget specialty organic granolas for your oatmeal. 6 flavors! Granola bars for a quick pick-me-up.

Christopher Soaps sell soft-on-the-skin natural soaps that are great for gifts, too. Fresh is best!

Support our hard-working neighbors. Shop fresh and local.

A beautiful Montgomery scene. Worth preserving. This is Montgomery Friends of Open Space’s mission.

Griggstown Farms will not be at the market this week.
