Help Healthcare Workers by Completing Your Census

Posted on April 25, 2020

In honor of those fighting on the #COVID19 frontlines, this week we’re focusing on how #2020Census impacts #healthcare in NJ.

One way we can all help our health care providers is by completing the Census! Census data informs where more than $45 billion is distributed each year for New Jersey That includes funding for hospitals, first responders, Medicare, Medicaid and much more. #NJCensus2020

Has your household responded to the 2020 Census yet?  The Decennial Census determines our representation in Congress as well as how over 675 billion dollars of federal funding are allocated each year.  Your household should have received a mailer from the US Census last month containing instructions on how to respond as well as your Census ID.  You can easily respond online by visiting https://my2020census.gov/ and entering in your Census ID.  It will only take 10 minutes of your time!  If you have any questions or need help completing the questionnaire, the Census has a toll-free help line you can call at 1-844-330-2020.  Time to get counted!
