GPYO Youth Orchestras & Choir Auditions Open in May

The Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) is holding auditions this May for our 2015-2016 season.   There are openings for all instruments AND for vocalists for our chorale at this time.  GPYO has ensembles for every level and grade of player from 5th grade to 12th grade.  Rehearsals are held in Skillman, NJ at Montgomery High School’s state of the art facilities.   Visit our web-site www.gpyo.org for more information and to register for an audition.    Information can also be obtained regarding orchestras at mmorris.gpyo@gmail.com and regarding vocal choir at choir.gpyo@gmail.com .

GPYO has provided an exciting and unique educational program and pre-professional performance opportunities for talented students in our community for 50 years.   Thousands of gifted young musicians from New Jersey and Pennsylvania have been members of this prestigious organization.  They hone their skills as performers, learn to work with others in pursuing common goals, and enrich our lives and our communities through public performances of instrumental music.

GPYO offers a Vocal Chorale, a Preparatory Division with Wind and String Ensembles, and a Senior Division with Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra.
