Reminder: Foodstock Week Ends This Fri. 7/12 4:30 PMPosted on July 10, 2019
Thank you to residents who have donated non-perishables to Foodstock so far! For those still planning to donate, please remember that Foodstock week is ending at 4:30 PM on Fri. July 12
Dear Montgomery Township Residents,
We have been invited to participate in Foodstock Week – July 7th through July 12!
Foodstock is a grassroots 501c3 organization that has been formed to assist with the needs of our less fortunate community members who are struggling to put food on their tables and to provide our generation with an opportunity to give back. Their successful effort began in 2010 with a small food drive event and to date they have collected 380,000 pounds of food. Their efforts have greatly benefited local food pantries which have come to depend on the great work of the Foodstock organization.
We request that you please bring in your generous non-perishable food donation between July 7th through July 12. Your donation is to be returned to the FOOD PANTRY BOX located in the municipal building vestibule, 2261 Rt. 206, Belle Mead, by the front door reception desk. Office hours at 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Please ensure all food is either in a plastic or paper bag. The food donations will be delivered to the MONTGOMERY FOOD PANTRY on July 12th.
Thank you in advance for considering being a part of Foodstock Week. Many families will be touched by your contribution.
