Family Fall Festival Sat. Oct 20, 3 PMPosted on October 18, 2018
Come make corn husk dolls and scarecrows at Montgomery Veterans Park, Harlingen Road, Belle Mead (Lower Parking Lot Pavilion) at 3 PM. You bring old shirts, hats and pants, we provide the hay and other decorations. Who can make the scariest, silliest, most outrageous scarecrow? Discover the old tradition of corn husk doll making. Enjoy the cooler fall temperatures and being outdoors. Great fun for families with young children accompanied by adult.
Light refreshments will be served. Hosted by Montgomery Friends of Open Space. Check out MontgomeryFriends.org for more details or in case of significant inclement weather. No registration required. A fee of $10 per scarecrow to cover material costs will be charged at the event.
