Montgomery Township Environmental Commission/Sustainable Montgomery members, Frank Derby, Jeff Salton, and Mary Reece joined forces with the Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association for the annual clean-up - it was held this year  on April 14th at the Mill Pond Park.

Volunteers Wanted!
Can you give an hour of your time in our parks for Earth Day?

Annual stream cleanup in cooperation between the Montgomery Twp. Environmental Commission / Sustainable Montgomery and the Watershed, Pennington, NJ.

Saturday April 24, 9-11AM

Hobler Park, 1645 Great Road, Skillman, NJ 08558


Pre-registration is required – please pick your time:




Stream Cleaning limited to 25 participants, but there are also other work projects in the park (see below).  

Social distancing will be observed during this outdoor event.

The Montgomery Twp. Open Space Committee will also be on-hand leading interest community members in additional stewardship activities throughout the park including:  roadside litter pickup, removal of invasive plants, giving our benches some TLC with a coat of water seal, and preparing an area for a new artwork installation!

T-shirts will be provided to participants.

Event held rain or shine. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, and long pants.  Bring water and your own snack.  Bring your own gloves, if you have a pair, or gloves will be provided. Masks must be worn.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
