COMMUTER BUS SERVICE

Suburban Transit/Coach USA plans to provide two morning and two evening buses to Manhattan with a park & ride at the Montgomery Place Shopping Center (under construction at Route 206 and Belle Mead-Griggstown Road).  The service start date is still being arranged.  Current the bus company runs four morning and four afternoon stops weekdays from the Hillsborough Promenade (Kohls, Lowes) to NYC daily.  Residents may check back with Suburban Transit/Coach USA at 732-249-1100, ext. 219 or visit suburbantransit.com.

Village Walk is the redevelopment of Village Shopper I & II (constructed in the 1960’s) located near the intersection of Route 518 and Route 206, in the heart of Montgomery’s shopping district.  The mixed-use center is being developed by Pugliese Properties, which also owns and manages the adjacent Village Shoppes at Montgomery shopping center which was completely renovated and redeveloped in 2014.

MONTGOMERY PROMENADE 

Montgomery Promenade is a 300,000 square foot regional shopping/entertainment development being developed just north of Princeton Airport on Route 206 by Madison Marquette.  The Promenade will be anchored by a national entertainment chain, Franks Theaters (http://franktheatres.com/), which will a multi-complex iMax cinema, a bowling alley and a sports pub.  There will also be a L.L. Bean and several family restaurants.  A one-acre outdoor community space with public events such as movie openings in the summertime and ice skating in the winter will be a great gathering space and focal point of the Promenade.  The project also includes 34 single-family detached homes that buffer the existing homes on Route 518 and the new shopping center.
