The LOCAL PUBLIC CONTRACTS LAW for the State of New Jersey delineates the various procedures for buying goods and services.
The Township of Montgomery adheres to those rules and accordingly will solicit prices for goods and services through the following methods:
The Township maintains bidders lists by specialized goods and services. If a Vendor wishes to be placed on a specific bidders list, it may do so by sending the appropriate information to firstname.lastname@example.org. Bidders lists are kept confidential. The Purchasing Department does not sell lists nor does it employ third party list managers.

2. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Solid Waste bid opening will not be postponed. Bids remain due on or before Thursday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. and can be dropped off at the receptionist window in the lobby of the main entrance. We also continue to accept bids received before the deadline by mail, overnight delivery or by courier.
Please note: pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Orders, the Township has limited entrance to the municipal building, and all gatherings have been prohibited. As such, the Township will open bid submissions at 12:00 p.m. (noon) via a live Zoom broadcast. The one hour delay between submission and opening will provide additional time for bidders to return to their location and sign into the Zoom meeting to witness the opening.
If you want to join the Zoom meeting, please advise the Purchasing Agent at email@example.com in advance so that she can provide you with the log in information and/or provide you with a meeting invitation.
