 MONTGOMERY ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION PRESENTS:

EARTH DAY AT HOME

Unfortunately Montgomery’s physical Earth Day Fair has had to be canceled as a safety precaution due to covid-19. But Earth Day is still April 22nd and this is still its 50TH Anniversary year.

There is a movement this year called, “Earth Day at Home”.

Understanding our environment and caring for our home planet are always important pursuits for a bright future for all people and plants and animals everywhere!

The Montgomery Twp. Environmental Commission has pulled together some great learning resources and even fun, safe activities for our families this Earth Day.

Visit our Earth Day Fair website at  edf.montgomery.nj.us and explore the 50+ Earth Day activities, including picking up free milkweed plants at town hall on Earth Day, taking part in live online Earth Day events, viewing the Eagle Cam at Duke Farms, starting a backyard compost pile, and learning how to make seed bombs, DIY birdfeeder, a suncatcher and more!
