Call for Fall Interns at DoughMainPosted on September 7, 2016
DoughMain Education Foundation is seeking students to serve as interns, develop professionally and see the direct lasting impact they can make on an organization and their community.
This summer, DoughMain Education Foundation welcomed nine service-learning interns with positions in graphic design, marketing and social media, grant writing and general support to their offices in Wall Street off Rt. 206, Princeton. Beyond developing their skills and working together in a positive environment, the interns all chose DoughMain Education Foundation with a common passion in mind: helping spread financial literacy to the community.
Interns volunteer their time to assist DoughMain Education Foundation in its mission to prepare today’s students for a lifetime of financial responsibility through engaging programs delivered to schools and homes. The interns spread this mission by connecting with educators, schools and with community members at local events held by DoughMain Education Foundation. Whether it is through the redesign of the Foundation’s financial literacy high school curriculum called the FitKit, or a fund raising phone call to a local bank, or posting a Twitter comment containing a financial literacy tip, the interns work to close the financial literacy gap in all areas of their work.
