EMS SERVICES WEEK

May 16-22 is EMS Services Week in Montgomery.  The members of the Montgomery Emergency Medical Services team are all volunteers who are ready to provide lifesaving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They spend countless hours each year serving the public and also engage in thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to enhance their lifesaving skills.  We are fortunate to have such a strong and dedicated EMS team here in Montgomery.

The Montgomery Twp. Committee wished to recognize the value and the accomplishments of emergency medical services providers, especially Montgomery EMS, by designating Emergency Medical Services Week.  A proclamation will be read at the Township Committee meeting of May 7th.

It is also the time of Montgomery EMS’s annual fundraising drive. Look for their fund drive flier to arrive in your mailbox early in May. If you can, show your support by sending a tax-deductible donation to Montgomery EMS in the envelope provided.  If you prefer making your donation via a credit card, you may donate online via PayPal.  You can do this by visiting mems47.org and click on the Donate button at the bottom of the page. All donations are greatly appreciated.
