Blue Pomegranate Art & Music Night Nov. 15- WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT

Blue Pomegranate wraps up its sixth season on Thursday, November 15 with its third  and final show. The Pennington Seniors Group, which is currently comprised of seven very talented members who are senior citizens, will show their work. 

They paint in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, and their work often includes pencil drawings and pastels as well. The group meets at the Hopewell Valley Senior Center in Pennington on Tuesday afternoons to paint together. Jewelry artist Jill Nielsen will also be displaying her work. Jill, who is the owner of Nonesuch Picture Framing and Jewelry in Montgomery Township, makes beautiful jewelry from semi-precious stones. Music for the evening will be provided by New Jersey band So It Goes, known for performing classic, acoustic, and alternative rock, as well as a bit of blues.

Doors open at 7:00pm in Cook Hall on the Blawenburg Church campus at 424 Route 518. Light refreshments will be served and admission is free, however donations are encouraged and go to support the musicians. Please share on your facebook page, and we hope to see you there.
