Blawenburg Church Rummage Sale April 24 & 25Posted on April 23, 2015
If it’s Friday, April 24th or Saturday, April 25th, it must be Blawenburg. That’s when Blawenburg Church will have its annual Rummage Sale, a signature event in town. From 9am to 6pm on Friday – and from 9am to 3pm on Saturday – you’ll find some amazing treasurers. And on Saturday, it’s Half Price Day!
“This is one of the best rummage sales I’ve ever been to,” said Ginny Doremus who often helps out at the sale, but even when she doesn’t, she travels from Flemington to shop. “It’s just a
great assortment of jewelry, clothing, knick knacks, toys, linens, even sports equipment.” “Sometimes it’s from people who are moving and just can’t take it all with them,” said David Cochran from the church, “or from folks who are spring cleaning.”
If you have quality items you would like to donate, you can drop them off any day from Sunday, April 19th, after 1 pm, through Noon on Thursday, April 23rd. Please no books, electronics or large furniture.
Proceeds from the sale will go to support local missions of the church, and the historic church itself.
