Arbor Day XXIX Celebration Planting Friday 4/17Posted on April 16, 2015
Interested citizens are invited to attend the Arbor Day
Celebration Planting of a Sugar Maple tree at the gazebo
in Van Horne Park, off of the Princeton Ave entrance
in Rocky Hill, Friday, April 17, at 11:45 am.
Montgomery Mayor Christine Madrid, Shade Tree
Committee Chairman Larry Koplik and other officials will be present.
This will be a special event since it will be the first
joint Montgomery/Rocky Hill Arbor Day Celebration
planting in our shared Van Horne Park.
Directions: Take Route 518 into Rocky Hill. Turn right
onto Princeton Ave. Go over 2 speed humps. Just before
the third speed hump, turn right through the metal gate
into the driveway to the gazebo.
All friends and tree enthusiasts are welcome!
