September 11th Memorial Tonight at Fire Co. #2

A brief public service in remembrance of 9/11 will be held at 6:30 PM tonight, Friday, September 11th, at Montgomery Volunteer Fire Co. #2’s firehouse, 529 Route 518, Skillman, NJ. The ceremony will be held at the memorial built by company members around a portion of steel beam from the World Trade Towers.  The Memorial is located next to the west side of the firehouse along Rt. 518. There will be short remarks and an observed moment of silence to honor the lives lost and forever changed on 9-11-01 in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on United Airlines Flight #93 over Shanksville, Pa.

Members of the public attending the brief outdoor service at the Fire Company’s 9-11 Memorial are asked to observe social distancing measures. Please park to the sides and back of the firehouse.
