Wed., May 1st is last day for online registration so sign-up now (or register the day of event). Run With Rotary is the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary Club’s main fundraising event. The morning Run With Rotary event will include music, kid-care for ages 4-8, Penn Medicine Princeton Health activities, MHS Drum Corps, Dance Factory performance, massage tables, Zumba class, 50/50 Raffle, kid’s activities, drone demos, and more. Stay and enjoy the EARTH DAY FAIR, sponsored by the Montgomery Environmental Commission. Join us for many fun family activities while learning more about protecting our community and environment, while having fun!
NEW THIS YEAR – Many green exhibits will begin at 9 AM. There will be entertainment (including a Battle of the Bands), food trucks, environmental information booths, kids activities, and lots more to explore. Of course, also included, will be our annual shredding and recycling and donation drop-off event. For a full list of recyclables, visit: https://edf.montgomery.nj.us/?p=823
The Earth Day Fair is free and open to the public, everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy the activities.
WE ARE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS! We need more people to collect specific items for recycling, and exhibitors to share educational information of environmental interest. To find out more, go to the VOLUNTEER page or contact Environmental Commission Coordinator Lauren Wasilauski at LWasilauski@twp.montgomery.nj.us
The ability to drive-up to drop-off materials for recycling will be available 12 noon to 3 PM only, due to the concurrent Run with Rotary event. BUT starting at 9 AM until 3 PM materials other than metals, electronics, and paper can be walked-in from where you park and dropped off at the designated areas. ALL materials for recycling can be driven-in from 12 noon to 3 PM. The trucks collecting metals, electronics, and paper will not be available before 12 noon.
For a list of items being collected, visit: https://edf.montgomery.nj.us/?p=823
Check back for further updates and to confirm materials accepted or contact Environmental Commission Coordinator Lauren Wasilauski at LWasilauski@twp.montgomery.nj.us
