MONTGOMERY VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
PREMIERES ONLINE NOVEMBER 11TH
The Montgomery Veterans Memorial Committee is producing a Veterans Day Ceremony video which will be available online on Veterans Day. The public is encouraged to participate by watching any time during the day on Wednesday, November 11th.
The video ceremony will be moderated by the chair of the Montgomery Veterans Memorial Committee and will include remarks by a local spiritual leader, a representative of Rolling Thunder, a presentation by students of Montgomery Lower Middle School, and a remarks by guest speaker.
Montgomery Mayor Sadaf Jaffer will speak about the history of Veteran’s Day, the diversity of America’s military families, and she will explain the why it is important for everyone to honor and learn from America’s veterans.

FREE RABIES VACCINATION CLINIC FOR DOGS & CATS
In partnership with Montgomery Township Animal Control
Montgomery Township and Hopewell Borough are partnering to offer free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats on Saturday November 14th from 9 to 11 AM at the Hopewell Borough Train Station at 2 Railroad Place in Hopewell Borough.
These vaccinations are a great way to protect your pet and your community. The clinic will follow all COVID safety rules with social distancing and just one pet owner admitted to the vaccination area at a time, while wearing a mask. Dogs must be under the owner’s control at all times, and on a short, sturdy leash—no retractable leashes! Use of a soft muzzle is encouraged. Cats must be in a carrier.
